Description
SIL-TEX® is is a neutral cure, crosslinked waterborne polymer sealant.
SIL-TEX® uses the latest technology in workplace safe sealants. This compound is non-flammable and free of petroleum solvent odors.
SIL-TEX® has the strength, look and the feel of silicone (small s) and the safety of latex compounds.
SIL-TEX® is the ideal adhesive/sealant for exterior and interior uses whenever avoiding petroleum solvent odors is desirable.

Shelf life: 1 Year@ 75°F
Substrate application range: 40°F to 125°F
Cured sealant temp. range: -40°F to 300°F
Cure rate@ 75°F: Thin skin: 24 hrs.
Complete cure: 21 days
Expected life: 10+ years when bead is installed as directed for approved applications.
Construction Standards
Meets performance requirements of TT-S-00230c and ASTM C-920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, except for weight loss.
